Scorpio Reading: Venus in Libra and the Longing for a New Chapter

      libra · scorpio

The reading addresses Scorpio, noting that the querent is in a situation that appears enviable to others but feels insufficient internally. With Venus moving into Libra (the sign next to Scorpio), the reader describes a sense of longing for a new experience, possibly involving work or travel, that brings genuine joy. The spread highlights external discouragement from others and the internal conflict of being trapped by financial security ("golden handcuffs") rather than passion.

      • The spread includes The Fool, The Empress, Four of Cups, The Devil, Six of Cups, and King of Pentacles.
      • Venus has moved into Libra, the sign next to Scorpio, creating a peripheral awareness of incoming opportunities for joy.
      • The querent is likely considering a new chapter involving work or travel, possibly leading to a desire to relocate.
      • Others are trying to talk the querent out of this change, potentially undercutting their self-confidence without a valid reason.
      • A primary concern is money; the querent feels like a prisoner in a situation that is financially rewarding but lacks excitement.
      • The current situation is described as "golden handcuffs"—too good to leave on paper, but not set ablaze by it.
