Leo Reading: Venus Retrograde and Resolving Old Lies
aquarius · aries · gemini · leo · libra · scorpio · virgo
The creator delivers a tarot reading for Leo, focusing on themes of financial stability, betrayal, and unresolved lies that were previously allowed to stand. The reading highlights the upcoming Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Mercury retrograde as catalysts for returning to address these past issues. The message encourages Leos to use this period to correct old mistakes, reclaim power, and make healing choices regarding relationships and commitments.
- The reading is one of the last two, following a Leo/Virgo sequence, and covers Sun, Moon, Rising, and Venus energies.
- The central theme involves learning about money and stability, specifically questioning if a sense of safety has become a prison or an unchangeable situation.
- Venus is retrograding in Scorpio in early October (around the 3rd) and returning to Libra around the 25th, bringing up themes of heavy, intense energy that clashes with the Empress/Venus energy.
- Cards like the Seven of Swords and Six of Pentacles suggest a past lie or secrecy was rewarded or upheld, leading to a feeling of betrayal.
- Aries energy (Ninth House for Leo) indicates the reader may have pushed back against advisors who said to stand up for themselves, resulting in a "win" where the lie was allowed to stand to rush through a situation.
- Pluto going direct in Aquarius (the opposite sign for Leo) relates to partner power dynamics and the upholding of lies.
- The reading identifies this as an opportunity to "clean up old business," specifically regarding time or money promised to others, to prevent future relationship offers from being hindered.
- Mercury retrograde in Gemini and Virgo suggests making a new, healing decision to correct a past choice made from a place of fear or lack of power.
